Romnitzer Muhle Restaurant & Cafe am See in Romnitz

Nice hotel with excellent food. With a little luck you can watch the boats here in spring and winter. The historic-looking machines that are used here cannot be seen anywhere else. Of course, the location is also great in summer, with a wonderful view over the marina to the lake.

Very nice restaurant, nice ambience, friendly staff, the food was also delicious, but the view of the Ratzeburg lake is just beautiful.

It was very cozy, the rooms were clean and the food was delicious. The area is great for hiking and cycling.

Expensive in relation to the quality. The staff is inflexible and sometimes rude.

The host was very nice, and although there was a closed party sign, we got our coffee. The view over the lake is fantastic. We like to come back to dinner.

Very tasty food in a pretty restaurant with a cozy outdoor area right on the Ratzeburg lake with a small sailing port. Did wait staff are all very nice, cheerful and courteous, especially the boss himself.

Idyllic landscape. Outside you sit almost on the water and inside you have a view of it. I think comfort and the stripped-down menu are due to Corona. Nonetheless, noon was a disaster. No warm fresh fish. Well, homemade special salmon with potato wreaths sounds good at first. Salmon from the foil and the wreaths of frozen potato fritters. That didn't work at all. Although the restaurant was recommended to us as very good. Corona only? Oh, the landlord was friendly.

Clean rooms friendly staff great food and beautiful area. We weren't there for the last time.

We stopped here on our bike tour yesterday. It's a great place right on the lake! The food was delicious and the owner friendly and humorous. The cycle path from Lübeck is very beautiful from the route, but natural and bumpy😅. The road to the restaurant / hotel and campsite across the street is steep and cobblestone. But it's beautiful here.

We are excited. The reception was great and the location is to die for. Those who love peace and quiet have to go on vacation here. We recommend. Own access to the lake.

the restaurant and the garden are very nice. Especially in the evening there is a great view of the lake with a nice flair. The rustic German cuisine doesn't go well with that, I would like a little more Mediterranean and maritime style on the menu and in the ambience.

Getting a place right on the lake is something special. And then the particularly tasty Matjes.

Simply a brilliant romantic cozy place / location. Always happy again

The location of the restaurant is very beautiful: they have tables right next to the harbor/Ratzeburger See. The carrot-ginger soup was very good. The main courses (Currywurst / penne) weren’t very special. We wanted to pay with our debit card, but they said only German cards were accepted. We tried and our Dutch card worked too. We wonder if the owner has to pay extra when customers pay with their debit cards, so he doesn’t want customers to do so. But if so, he could just charge them (like they do in the Netherlands). The staff speaks English. You can order very nice little breads here for breakfast if you’re staying at camping “A beautiful view” right next to it.

It was very nice there. Next time i visit this beautiful place again!
